For 2002 our Paramount Euro-Ciclismo group headed to the 85th Giro d'Italia.  We traveled again with Graham Baxter's Sporting Tours which is based in the U.K.  A great way to go if doing a cycling trip to a major race and Graham is a great host. 

After a short hop from Southern California  to Venice via Germany (14 or so hours), our adventure began with a few days of R&R in Venice and Treviso.  On May 27th, we met up with our tour group in Treviso and spent the next seven days following the race.
