Glendora Mountain Road climbs up into the San Gabriel mountains at a moderate rate, about 5.5%.  It is a good road for training as it is very lightly traveled by vehicles. An excellent switch-back descent is the reward for the climb. You can connect to many other routes and climbs from the top.
