Stage 11 Bourg d'Oisans / Saint-Etienne   198.50 km July 15th
The bus left Grenoble for a 1 1/2 hour ride to a golf course resort in Annonay.  Annonay was on the stage 11 route at Km155.  I rode the remaining 43 kilos to the finish in St. Etienne via the Col de la Croix de Chaubouret.  The climb is a cat-2 25km climb covering about 800 meters in elevation.  There was an excellent decent into St. Etienne.   I hung around in St. Etienne, had a jambon and fromage sandwich then watched Belgian Ludo Dierckxsen win the stage.  After that I headed 43k back to the hotel.
