Since the TDF Peloton was on a rest day, we took advantage of being in Provence and rode to the top of Mont Ventoux.  The day started with another bus trip from our hotel in Arles to Bedoin.   The ride was 22 kilometers from Bedoin to the top.    We made a giant loop, first up to Ventoux, then through the scenic Provencial countryside and the Gorges de la Nesque.
